Vision, Values and Aims

Our vision and purpose is ‘Giving children the keys to unlock their future’ which links with the Church of England vision to enable all pupils to flourish and achieve their full potential.

Our Christian Vision is based on the words of Jesus:
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  (John 10:10)

“I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 16:19)

Values

Our school values are caring, sharing, respect and forgiveness. We also value questioning in order to deepen our understanding of ourselves, other people and the world around us.

We learn about these values during collective worship and they provide the basis of our life together in school. As we learn to apply these values to our relationships and everyday situations it develops our character and shapes our lives.

We also learn about the Church of England's values as well as other important Christian values.

This includes the education of:

  • Wisdom, knowledge and skills
  • Hope and aspiration.
  • Community and living well together.
  • Dignity and respect.
