A warm welcome to St Peter's School

Great news - we have achieved GOOD in our Ofsted Inspection on the 5th and 6th March 2013. Many thanks to everyone, the staff, the Governors, parents and most of all the children. Everyone has worked so hard to make sure we could show strong progress and achievement. The children discussed all aspects of the school with the inspectors and they were very impressed by their behaviour and enthusiasm for learning. We will, of course, continue to improve and we have some helpful development points to work on.  The full report should soon be on the Ofsted website. We will put in a link as soon as possible.

News from St Peter’s School - From 8/04/13 we will launch our new tuck shop which will sell a range of healthy snacks for just 40p which must be paid for in the same way as dinner money is done, in a named envelope. Tuck choices will be printed on the menu so if you could order in advance for the week it would help us to prepare enough and avoid waste. You can still buy tuck if you don’t have a school dinner and if you are entitled to free school meals you can have free tuck!

Inevitably, we have had to increase the price of school dinners to £2.20 which will take effect from 8/4/13.  This will bring us in line with other Chippenham schools and compensate for food inflation.
